Do I need carpentry & joinery for alcove storage in Truro?

If you want cupboards and shelves built into an alcove, so they fill the space rather than stand in it, then yes, you need carpentry and joinery. The picture is a generated illustration, not one of my jobs. It shows the kind of thing I mean: painted panelled doors below, a flat top, and thick timber shelves above.

The same goes for a window seat with a timber top and a panelled front, also in the picture. This work can sit inside a bigger job too. I also do kitchens, bathrooms, extensions and renovations, so fitted storage can be planned alongside the rest.

An honest price needs me to see the room. To quote, I need a few photos of the space and rough measurements if you have them. Tell me what it needs to hold, whether you want doors or open shelves, and where the house is. I do this work across Truro, as well as Falmouth, Perranwell Station and Playing Place.

If you have an awkward alcove or a bare window bay, send me those photos and I will tell you plainly whether it needs a joiner. You can read how I approach carpentry & joinery at Mitchell & Andrew Building Services before you get in touch.
