Frequently Asked Questions
Most of the kitchens we take on are more than a change of units. People want a bigger room, a better link to the garden or a kitchen and dining space that works as one, and that means building work before any cabinet goes in.
We take out the old kitchen, then carry out the structural work the new layout needs: opening up a wall with the right support above it, moving a doorway, or forming an opening for sliding or bifold doors. Andrew Mewton's renovation with us included significant structural changes for open plan living and large bifold doors. Carpentry and joinery is the trade the business started with, so the studwork, boxing in and timber details are done by our own team.
Plumbing and electrics go in through the subcontractors we use on every job, then plastering, flooring, fitting the units and finishing follow. If the new kitchen sits in an extension, we build both as one project.
What moves the price most is how much of the room changes. A straight replacement on the same layout costs far less than knocking through or moving the sink and cooker to another wall.
For a quote, send us the address, a rough sketch or measurements of the room, the layout you would like and where you are buying the units from.
